Well, in one of those roundabout ways.... There is a LC conference in the UK, end of March. It has some splendid guests, most of whom as far as I can see, are in here! :-) To cut a very long story short... I've ended up in emails with a couple of people coming into the UK, from Europe, trying to find crash space and travel info, for the conference. So I thought... why not have a space dedicated to allowing lactation people from different places, to talk to locals at the event, on meeting up, sharing car rides, and crashing at people's places for the trip. So 'Nursing Matters' brings you *lact-share*. It is non moderated - and you're in charge of yourself in terms of finding stuff out. It's not just about the Leeds conference - it's for any lactation conference or function anywhere - to help everyone sort out cheapest travel etc. http://nursingmatters.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/lact-share_nursingmatters.org.uk <http://nursingmatters.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/lact-share_nursingmatters.org.uk> It is technically possible to self-subscribe. However, since this email domain was set up, most spam filters have developed to trap the email. Whilst you can fill in the details, most people never get the auto-reply that needs replied to, to confirm. So you can just email me at: [log in to unmask] <mailto:morgan%40dreyfuss.demon.co.uk> And I will subscribe you. Once in, you can unsubscribe at any time. So if you are near where a conference is happening this year, and want to help, or are travelling to one and require help... see if you can find each other in lact-share. Please propagate appropriately.
