Having completed a hectic and frustrating week at work (hospital) there is 
plenty to vent about. However in the midst of it all I had a paediatrcian 
suggest that I ask a mother who had decided to bottlefeed to give 
breastfeeding a try for a day or two.  I was gobsmacked!  In the end *he* 
actually spoke to her and gently suggested she try breastfeeding!  The same 
guy also told a mother who had had a breast reduction and later a breast 
augmentation that breastfeeding doesn't have to an all-or-nothing 
situation - and - he didn't prescribe sulpiride which is standard on day two 
for women who have had breast surgery!   (She had plenty of milk on day 4.) 
It's only taken 4 years - but little steps add up I guess.
