Jeanette's training was correct.  HIPAA has a huge loophole (I call it a 
pothole) allowing free and unfettered exchange of personal health 
information about a mom and baby, if it is for "treatment, payment, or 
health care operations" purposes.  The way I explain it:  If you're "in the 
loop," you're in the loophole.
