Patti, a mother I was working with has similar symptoms to what you describe. As a sufferer of almost chronic plugged ducts and blebs myself, I thought for sure that's what she had, but she ultimately was prescribed Diflucan (small doses over a period of time, not the one- time big dose) and used nystatin on her baby -- swears she had thrush and is nursing pain-free for the first time in months. I never suspected thrush and even strongly doubted the diagnosis when she first told me about it, but I can't argue with her profession of complete relief. Let us know how this case turns out for you, OK? --Diana in NY *********************************************** To temporarily stop your subscription: set lactnet nomail To start it again: set lactnet mail (or digest) To unsubscribe: unsubscribe lactnet All commands go to [log in to unmask] The LACTNET email list is powered by LISTSERV (R).
