It may seem silly to post this on the list since the people we are trying to reach, are those who are not receiving Lactnet, despite not having been deleted from the list and not having placed themselves on 'no mail' status. There seems to be a big problem reaching hotmail.com and msn.com subscribers. Lactnet e-mail is going out to them, and it is not being bounced back so that the listserv is alerted that there is a problem, but neither is it getting delivered to the subscribers. The problem seemed to start last week, possibly on the 10th. Maybe if enough people complain to hotmail.com and msn.com, they will wake up and fix it for us. We are already struggling to get SpamCop to believe that subscribing to Lactnet will not result in a flood of e-junk mail, and this listmother is also trying to figure out how a spam filter can prevent e-mail which you most definitely WANT to receive, from getting through. I didn't think these filters had minds of their own but apparently I am mistaken. If you are the friend or colleague of someone with an e.mail address from hotmail.com or msn.com who you know is a subscriber to the list, please ask them whether their mail is arriving as usual and to contact their mail provider if not.
