Hi Wise ones,

Does anyone know if a Child Development Center (Navy) can legally refuse to
provide human milk to a child?

Child is 15 months old and moving from the baby class to the 1-2 year old
class and mom was told: "cow's milk only" or get a prescription for "soy,
lactate, or organic cow's milk". Absolutely no mother's milk.

Mom was told that "due to regulations they cannot keep mom's milk in their
refrigerator" (baby class had a separate fridge for milk) The CDC is also
worried that another child may drink out of the baby's cup.

What a messed up society that we live in: milk from a cow or soybean: OK,
milk from mom: icky.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Take care,
