Whatever the cause it will continue if the mother does not tell the baby to 
stop through whichever way she thinks appropriate. My own son only stopped 
when he was tolda  firm no and then taken from the breast for only 30 
seconds to a minute. Although some babies will have a "strike" it seems 
this mother is at a critical point. Others recommend holding their nose, 
etc. Also is the baby getting mad that milk is slower coming, possibly 
massaging the breast first may help for let down since it is only at the 
start of a feed.
