Judy gave me my laugh of the day with her post. After teaching tonight
where I viewed and critiqued 20 speeches in a row (the first time for many
of my college students to ever give a speech in public), I read Judy's post
and nearly choked on my milk.

"My 84 year old neighbor gave birth to two daughters...."

Dang! I thought that 35 was 'advanced maternal age'! LOL :)

Subject: question about choice

My 84 year old neighbor gave birth to two daughters while her husband =
was
employed as a career Navy chaplain here in the US. She was not young =
when
they married and then had their two girls. =20

She told me that it was insisted in that time frame (early 1950's) that =
all
new mothers start breastfeeding at those two military hospitals.
