I've often wondered if this would help w/ milk
ejection for our long term pumping moms (NICU, etc.)
as oxytocin nasal spray would.

Dear Friends:
Of course, we all remember that a baby at breast also boosts oxytocin!
And oxytocin has to interact with both the cerebrospinal fluid AND the
blood; injecting it just integrates it with blood.
In view of the huge amount of over-hydration that mothers and babies
experience in labor, I suspect that K.Jean Cotterman's and Jan Riordan's
fabulous articles about their variations on Lymphatic Drainage, will be increasingly
important. And hand expressing. And keeping this bloated mother horizontal
so her breasts can drain.
    warmly,
