Preemie for a day is presented by Children's Medical Ventures I believe. The company makes such items as swaddlers and containment bumpers for preemies. They also make pacifiers for kids who are way too little to be given a paci - in many cases they should just be allowed to have their fingers (sometimes not possible with arterial lines and IV's), and they make those green and purple silicone type pacifiers with the standard bottle teat on them (as well as vanilla scented pacifiers which I know have been discussed here before) They do a number of different seminars including a full day program on feeding a preemie that focuses on bottle feeding, and while the feeding readiness cues and scale apply to breastfeeding, I would not call the program breastfeeding friendly. I have the printed materials from the program somewhere around here. If I recall correctly, a formula company may have sponsored lunch for the program but I cannot be absolutely sure about that. The preemie for a day focus's on the environmental aspects of being a preemie - light, sound, being swaddled and contained vs. not. It allows a big person to crawl into giant size products to see what the little ones feel like. I don't know how much, if any feeding content is in it.
