Hi!

I found this interesting and nicely written---even though it is from 1998,
and I'm sure there are updated studies, it seems to fit the discussions
going on now.

(Sorry I haven't really introduced myself---I did once a long time ago! I'm
a hospital-based LC, 5000+ births/year (between two hospitals); very busy as
we only have about 1.5 FTEs (divided between several part-timers) for
post-partum, NICU, Peds, outpatient office visits, staff education, etc. We
are going to have a full-time LC (me!) starting the first of the year and
maybe more LC hours added next year.)
