Hi Susan, This baby is off the chart for weight and 80th percentile for height. I'd give this mom the same advice I'd give someone who was giving their toddler a bottle of juice/milk everytime they woke up. It is not healthy to be drinking a sugary liquid so often at night. This baby needs to be weaned off the night feeds. An abrupt night time weaning might be the most effective way to get this done. There is no physiologic reason this baby needs to nurse so often at night. It might be setting him up for obesity.
