You may want to extend the diflucan to a 21 day course, depending on at which
point in the 14 day course she began to feel significant improvement; my
experience has been that if the woman begins to feel pain-free on day 11 or 12, it
is wise to keep kicking it back for another week. Make sure, too, that she
is really taking 200 mg/day and not 150.

The other thing one of our MD's here is doing is having women put
acidophilous directly on the nipple (sounds weird, I know, but she swears it is getting
results). Take some capsules and empty them, mix the powder inside them with
a tiny bit of water to make a paste, and apply it directly to the nipple.
