Ah, thyroid "a little low" is a major red flag.  If she can take some
synthroid to put her well into the normal range, she might see some
improvement.  Also, if the baby sucks actively for only 10 mins, she
might want to take him off the breast after 10 mins, and either let him
go back after a little break or pump for 10 mins or so.  This pattern
can be a better use of her time.  And I really like the Lact-aid for
supplementing at breast.

BTW, I enjoyed your talk on the history of artificial feeding last March
in Ohio.
