Thank You Pat W. for the information all put together so nicely :) I believe that Solus Products is a company called Solus Industrial Innovations. http://www.nolu.com They make machinery (rollers, various parts of assembly line machinery)for the food industry to meet the specs of the FDA and USDA. One of their offices is in Indianapolis, Indiana. They have offices around the world. Although I am not 100% sure that this is the company that wrote the FDA. But I have never seen any infant formula made by a company called Solus Products. If this is who they are, it is quite remarkable that they are now under the umbrella of the International Formula Council. They certainly would have to work towards compliance with the FDA. I still think it remarkable that they are speaking about "joint efforts" to craft final regs for the infant formula industry. The International Formula Council is obviously broadening its base of support to include other industries. ( if indeed this company called Solus Industrial Innovations is the company in question) Valerie W.
