Hi. I just received a call from a lady who is looking for human milk. She has something called intestinal dysbiosis she said was caused by over use of tetracycline to put it simply. This is a chronic problem she has had for several years. She has done much research about human milk and its potential use in curing intestinal problems. Her problem is she can't find a doctor in this area that will take her seriously. She found a mom that was willing to give her milk but the husband would not agree to it. As a LLL Leader I can't just ask moms in the group and as a hospital LC I can't go around asking moms if they want to donate their milk to an adult for medicinal reasons. She has contacted a milk bank, but she can't find a doctor that will write her a script. I have never met this lady, but she seems to be sincere. I would like to help her, I am not sure what I can do. Has anyone been faced with a situation like this? Thanks!
