Dear Friends:
    I wonder if one facet of this problem can be a mother's determination to
breastfeed when she is fighting negative influences in her environment.
Perhaps so many people are giving her advice, which may not be welcome, that she
digs her heels in and won't listen to anyone. Maybe that is why it could take 3
different advocates, as Mary described, to assure a mother that she is being a
good mother and that the breastfeeding needs some help.
    Just a thought, after reading Mary's terrific post.
