Naturally, I had to query whether extended nursing past one year of age raised any antennae within the CPS bureaucracy. He assured me that no, neither toddler nursing nor public nursing are considered reportable events - at least in Arizona, USA. Check with your own CPS-type agency. However, it's a moot point if your state has a law that protects mom's / baby's right to breastfeed. I always went to my Pediatrician for medical advice, not for parenting or social advice.
