GE reflux is the diagnosis du jour of the medical profession for fussing
babies.  It is greatly over diagnosed and way too many babies are being
put on medication.

Lacnet readers may be interested in a recent article and editorial in
(by Moore and Putnam respectively) in the August issue of Journal of
Pediatrics that report on fussy babies who had reflux...were
treated...had their acid reduced...BUT it made no difference in their
crying.
