Betsy,
I saw your post regarding lactation education. You might want to check
with organizations that certify doulas. I am a member of CAPPA (childbirth
and postpartum professionals association) and am sponsoring a lactation
educator training in my city (nashville, tn) next month. Their program
offers a certification as a CLE (certified lactation educator). Many of
their trainers will fly anywhere if you have 6 to8 people in the group or
can get that many. DONA or Birthworks or ALACE might offer a simmilar
certification. cappa's web site is www.cappa.net.
Hope this helps!
