I just have to comment on this thread! Having been a devoted co-sleeper and nightime nursing mom for over 8 years (including twins), I now get about 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep a night (sometimes less if we stay up to play cards!). And I have to say, I am ever so much more productive, patient, creative and optimistic. I would not ever trade one minute of those precious 8 years of co-sleeping and nursing, but I am glad to have moved on to the next stage. :) Warmly, Virginia Bobro IBCLC, CD (DONA) p.s. My children (now 5, 5, and 9) also sleep for 10 uninterrupted hours a night (each in their own bed by their own choice--yes even the identical twins!) Seems to me that letting them choose their own paths in their own time really did work! __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
