Jean,

Being an inveterate collector of references, I am sympathetic. :-)
Generally if I'm looking for medical references, I go to the National
Library of Medicine for my first stop
<http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/PubMed/>. If that yields little or nothing, I
go directly to Google <http://www.google.com>. That's usually very helpful
for conference proceedings, finding specific researchers, and that sort of
thing.

In Donna Ramsay's case, I didn't find anything on Medline, but there's a
fair amount to gain by googling --- a sample of what's available:

<http://www.ibreastfeeding.com/conference/html/outline.html>
<http://www.lactation.org.au/nsw/pubs.htm>
<http://www.publish.csiro.au/journals/rfd/SRBabstracts/2001/Ab30.pdf>
<http://www.breastfeeding.asn.au/products/bbb-sa.pdf>

There's a lot more and tapes, articles, and abstracts are available. Since
Ms. Ramsay's affiliation is listed, you might also look on the web site for
her institution. If there's not a listing of her research, perhaps you
might email or call her directly to request an overview. I don't want to
volunteer her for the task, but it can't hurt to ask. During the course of
my work, I've never encountered a researcher who wasn't happy to detail his
or her research. My wildly crammed file cabinets are testimony to their
generosity!

regards,
Julia
