Oh, how I would love to. The particular Doctor who mislead a Mom re:Hep C and forced another to sign a consent re: Nystatin when he didn't see thrush on the baby even though Mom has it, he is workable. There are Doctors who have walked right in behind me and told a Mom totally off the wall info. For example when I have suggested a tight frenulum might need clipped, referred the parents to Brian Palmer's sight and educated them how so many Peds don't believe in it because of lack of education about it. But I reassure them I know Pediatricians who would be good to go to for a second opinion if they feel they need one. I had our HEAD of Pediatrics tell the parents Doctors would be sued who did such a thing and it was a difficult procedure and totally unnecessary (he went on to discribe what sounded like a vascular frenulum, not just a simple unvascular one that a simple clip would take care of it). I found this out after he had left the unit. I went to the medical office building, to his practice, where he was too busy to see me. I left info for him, which probably went into the trash can. This man is VERY arrogant and refuses to learn from the likes of a nurse/LC. I would love to report him!! But he is head of Peds, I am an employee of the hospital, I don't think the hospital is going to back me if a big stink were to occur over reporting a Doctor. If I win the lotto tonight, I will report like crazy! ha!
