Hello to All--
I am a hospital based RN IBCLC, and love what I do, but want to do more. Am
especially interested in the effect on breastfeeding of childbirth
interventions (i.e, elective induction of labor, vacuum extraction). I am
very interested in learning how to do lactation research, but not sure what
kind of training I need. I have looked into getting a Master's in Public
Health, but not sure the coursework will give me what I really want. I
would love to hear from anyone who is currently doing lactation research,
about how you trained, and how you like doing the work, satisfactions,
challenges, etc.
Many thanks in advance from:
Martha Johnson RN IBCLC

PS-- Please respond to me personally as well as posting the list, no way can
I read all of Lactnet!
