Dear Friends: I heard today about farm raised salmon that is being genetically engineered to eat and survive on corn. So the reasons to be eating salmon, aside from the lovely taste, have become moot as the nutrient make-up of the fish changes with its diet. Corn-fed fish won't have the EFAs that the wild fish do. I don't want to eat wild salmon so as to preserve the species. Now what? Any suggestions, Valerie McClain?
