I have a question...what are good reasons for induction? Are there any? What about a diabetic mother whose needs for insulin dropped to almost nothing (indicating that the placenta was not working properly)? What about a diabetic mother whose baby IS large. (Ultrasound said 9 lbs, baby was actually 9lbs 2 oz and it was a VBAC)? I don't agree with induction just to have baby on a schedule, but do any of the above medical reasons warrant an induction? Or a section? At 05:18 AM 8/27/2002 -0700, you wrote: >Warning...the following is a rant! Not accusing or >finger-pointing. Just need to vent.
