Promotion of bf intervention trial. JAMA 2001; 285; 413-20. It's a nice big trial - over 16000 mother and baby pairs - and shows BFHI babies were significntly more likely to be bf at 3 mths and 6 mths compared to the controls. There were also significant health gains.
