Domperidone is available at compounding pharmacies throughout the US. We've had several mothers obtain it (with an Rx) in Illinois. There is nothing illegal about Domperidone in the US... it's just that the makers of Domperidone (Motilium) have chosen not to go through the time and expense of having it approved by our FDA. This means that they cannot package and distribute it commercially in our country. But since it's not a 'controlled substance', compounding it for use for a patient with a Dr.'s Rx is not a problem. -Jeanne Cygnus The Art of Breastfeeding Illinois, USA *********************************************** To temporarily stop your subscription: set lactnet nomail To start it again: set lactnet mail (or digest) To unsubscribe: unsubscribe lactnet All commands go to [log in to unmask] The LACTNET mailing list is powered by L-Soft's renowned LISTSERV(R) list management software together with L-Soft's LSMTP(TM) mailer for lightning fast mail delivery.
