Dear Friends:
I have a question about this alleged reduction in milk supply during
dieting. Women have breastfed their babies through sieges, through wars,
during the crossing of the Plains in the center of the USA.....women have
breastfed in sustained conditions I pray no woman ever has to go through
again.
So what's with the exercise and dieting dropping supply? I agree with
the LACTNETTER who said that such women are probably too busy exercising and
getting their shopping done to actually be with the baby. Gotta be with a
baby to have enough milk, unless one is removing milk regularly by other
means. I've never seen a breastpump in a gym, although I am sure it has
happened.
     Warmly,
