I have a local pedi that is considering purchasing this pump because it is "cheap" and he feels it may help keep moms that are not buying a pump because of price breastfeeding. Very bad sentence but I think you know what I mean." My comment is not regarding this pump, but the issue that women will stop breastfeeding because of the cost of a pump and think nothing of purchasing formula which costs oodles more than a pump. A good manual pump can be purchased for approx. US$40. That's about 1/2 a week of formula! Are we not remiss in pointing this out?
