Hi Jennifer,
How about just asking the mom about her feeding related birth plan?  You
could open with something like "I notice you said you are planning to
both bf and btl feed, and that you wish baby to be fed on a schedule.  I
would like to understand more about your feeding goals, so I can help
you meet them."  Then see what she says.

Sometimes mothers who say they want to "do both" are saying they lack
confidence in their ability to make milk.   THat's not too hard to deal
with.  Other times it's a perceived lifestyle issue, or a fear that the
baby will be dependent on them.
The scheduling thing is tougher.  Perhaps she read a book that advocates
schedule feeding.  If so, you may be able to gently tell her that the
AAP recommends cue feeding, and why.  If she is doing it for ideological
reasons, you are less likely to sway her.
In any case, once she is informed, it is still her decision to make,
even though we can all see the writing on the wall here. Sigh.
