Jennifer,
When any parents ask me about when they can get their baby on a schedule I
answer with a question back to them. I ask them what is their schedule. If
they try to give me one, I start to challenge it as a true schedule like the
one they want to subject their poor baby to.
This was brought up on Lactnet before but I loved the response, how would
they like to have their basic needs put on a schedule? Then remind them that
a baby is just trying to communicate their needs.
Hope this helps.
