Hi, I am returning to Lactnet after a long time. I am in private practice, and have a loyal following which keeps me in business but still not making any real paycheck:) I breastfed 3 beautiful daughters a long time ago. I have learned alot since I last posted and am more mellow now, but still very pro-breastfeeding. I would like to hear from anyone that works with domperidone. First I want to know if it is a perscription drug in your country or over the counter? I really want a list of countries that carry over the counter. 1. I need positive information about its use here in US, please share your knowledge and thank you so very much in advance. 2. What credentials do you have, RN, IBCLC, midwife, NP, ect. 3. What type of history or suggestions do you make before you suggest use of domperidone? 4. How you suggest it's use. 5. Do you sell this to the people? 6. How do you explain the label that says perscription only medicine. 7. What type of information do you give people concerning domperidone. 8. Do you know of any actions by any state re: RN board or IBCLE board concerning Domperidone? I would appreciate a response and if you would give this question list to any other Lactation people that are presently using domperidone so that they can respond.
