Sarah says:
"It's much more than classroom education that makes a qualified lactation
consultant, it's clinical practice, it's working with experienced individuals
in a clinical setting and actually having hands on experience."

Becoming a qualified LC that gives excellent and accurate advice and support
may be contributed to by classroom education, will be contributed to by hands
on experience and observation, but definitely does NOT require that practice,
experience and observation takes place in a clinical setting.
