Gonneke, What a descriptive term! <The LC hypothesed that the very large milklake of 700ml was built becauyse the momhad a large storing capacity and leaked a lot from the non-used breast. So not only the milk the baby drank, but also the leaked milk was reproduced and in her large breasts mom could store up to 700ml before feeling oncomfortable and getting problems. By emptying the breasts completely the milklake was removed and by feeding both breast there was no ''unused breast'' that needed leaking to empty.> Sort of like flood control, opening the "dam" to control the level of the lake now and then. One more way to "skin a cat" as our old saying goes! Jean ******** K.
