>They HAVE planned for post-birth--but now >that they've met their babies, the situations changes, and sometimes things >are not really feasible at that point for a wide variety of reasons. I agree that you will not know how it is until we are in that situation, but again it's all an issue of planning/being realistic. Again I use my dog buying analogy, you don't run out and buy one without first asking someone who already has a dog what it's like. And you certainly don't expect a new puppy to be house trained on day one, you give it time and everyone in the house adjusts. Many people even put extensive research into what breed they want, and for those who get a dog from the Humane Society or other such animal shelter, usually have to wait 24 hours before they can take home the dog they have chosen. All of this work for an animal that will be in our lives maybe 20 years. THAT is what I mean by most people put more thought into getting a dog than into getting pregnant. If we put this much thought into half the things we did this world would be a much better place. That being said, we aren't all going to agree, nor do we have to, that's why variety is the spice of life. Melisa ~*~*~*~*~ Did you hear? Breast is Best!
