Well, here's a little thing I inadvertantly learned when at home on
maternity leave...

First I spilled gentian violet all over the livingroom coffee table. A
couple days later I tipped over a bottle of nail polish remover. Voila!
It handily removed the GV stains. Of course, it also removed the
varnish, but... Can you tell I wasn't the most graceful of new moms?
Still not graceful--but I've never dropped the baby!
