Alternately, they may really be keen as all get out, but be grown up enough
to balance conflicting needs, and understand that they certainly can get a
reduction after breastfeeding, but that the opposite is less guaranteed.

I have a close friend presently bf her first who puts it this way.   I
thought perhaps a successful bf experience would make her like her breasts
better.  But alas, no -- her answer is that she's always hated their
largeness, and now they are even larger!   Personally I find this profoundly
sad.  But even so she is glad she put off the reduction, so that she can
nurse her baby.
