I have to agree that any meeting aimed at new moms should be scheduled for mid- morning or later. Heck, most of our LLL moms have a hard time making it to 9:30 am meetings before 10 am! And many of these moms are pretty post-post- partum, ie, their babies are 9 mos or a year old or older. They may or may not have older kids. It's my observation that attachment-style parenting often leads to later bedtimes, which leads to later wake-up times, and therefore later get-out-the-door times. Andrea, great ideas for the class. One subject you might address is "dealing with people in your life who are not well-informed about bfg." Any mom who nurses beyond a few months is likely to encounter skeptical relatives, friends, and strangers. Of course these people have the potential to undermine a nursing mom's confidence. Dealing with naysayers is always a popular topic at LLL meetings with both experienced and inexperienced nursing moms. Count me among those interesting in hearing how it goes.
