I wonder if anyone has any information/experience of breastfeeding with Parkinsons disease. A friend of mine is expecting her first baby in May 2001. She has recently been diagnosed with Parkinsons and is not on any medication as yet. Her physician told her that 3 weeks after the delivery, she will be put on medication(L-Dopa) and will only be able to breastfeed for 3 weeks. She would like to breastfeed for longer than thant. Any tips/suggestions?
