Linda Madsen, Regarding your comment of 7/20/00 "Looking at the dome-shaped bottle, in my opinion, I just see one more attempt to supplant breastfeeding." Linda , I certainly agree with you. When I viewed the bottle I saw no indication that a baby would be able to draw into his/her mouth that part of the bottle where the lactiferous sinuses (missing) could be compressed against the hard palate with his/her tongue to take the milk out like a breast. If that doesn't happen, wouldn't the same bitting action take place to remove the contents as with all the existing nipples? And we know where the baby's tongue will be when s/he tries to latch onto the real breast! OUCH!!
