Carol : You have permission to share this with your friend. Personally I think this is against Corporate Compliance issues. Out hospital has theses and a lot of hospitals already have them or are instituting them. Is this against the WHO code in some way, this would be advertising the brands that were on the cart just as the diaper bags advertise what is in them. Would these items be for direct sale or added to hospital bill? I think this "room to room" sales is a little unethical..... too pushy.... I run a Medela rental / retail station in my hospital but we don't really try to sell anything, if a mom asks , where can I get so and so (breastfeeding item) we tell her that they are for sale in the rental station, but we don't promote it while she is a pt in the hospital, moms could buy on impulse and regret later and feel bad. This is a very interesting idea and I am anxious to hear what others have to say abut this.
