I'd like to know what size/length feeding tubes and syringes work best
for you when you make "home made" at the breast supplementers for moms. I
just recently joined a pediatric practice and you should have seen what I
rigged up for a mom this morning! I'm going to order some supplies - what do
you suggest?

Periodontal syringes - 10 cc are my favorite - easy to use, cheap, easy to
control and teach parents how to use. I keep some in my jacket pocket when
making rounds and pull out occasionally and keep babies from being bottlefed
when all they need is a nudge to get started at breast. Forgot them/ran out
once and had to use a sryinge and French feeding tube from the nursery - felt
so totally awkward. Guess it's what we get used to that works best.
