Once again I seek your collective wisdom.
Mum has baby 6 months old (baby no. 4) Severe mastitis now, has had recurrent mastitis with all but one lactation (will try to find out what was different for that baby when I see her)
Mastitis is recurrent and ongoing, defying normal treatments, she is now in hospital with IV and antibiotics for the past few days (very unusual here!)
She has been on Lecithin for all lactations after the first.

Sorry I don't have more details at the moment- attachment and positioning are good, no sore nipples ever!
Despite these problems, this wonderful mum manages to breastfeed for over a year for each!

Any ideas for a hard to beat case such as this?
Thanks
