My nephew 28 months old has apraxia, which basically at this point means
that he has delayed speech probably related to facial muscle development.
Interestingly enough, he had issues with milk transfer as an infant. He is
of course, breastfed and still breastfeeding enthusiastically. My sister
belongs to an apraxia listserv and got this from them. Can anyone help me
put together some information for her to share with that list.

Forgive me if this has been addressed before. I received a phone call from
a parent looking for any research available on breast feeding possibly
leading to articulation disorders.

If anyone has any research or has heard of this topic before, can you
privately e-mail me at

Thank You!

Linda
