I'm preparing a webquest for Hebrw speaking Jr. High students on breastmilk. Unfortunately there isn't too much in Hebrew and so I'm looking for websites in SIMPLE English that show: How the breast produces milk, Changes in milk composition over time (and during feeds), Differences in milk composition of different kinds of milk In all my searches, I could not find any websites on breastfeeding and breastmilk written for children! If any of you know of appropriate websites- please post or send me directly the URL. Thanks. Chaya in Maalot. I know it is customary for people posting for the first time to introduce themselves- so here goes. It is the first time I'm posting, but I have been lurching for over three years since Toby posted a question for/about me when I gave birth at wk 33 while sick with HpA. With the help I received we were able to convince the Doctors that my baby could receive my breastmilk, and 10 days after birth I left the hospital with a breastfeeding baby who didn't stop nursing until I was 7 months pregnant. I am an unofficial LC- no fancy titles, but learned and was accredited at the Israel Chilbirth Ed. Center as a breastfeeding couselor. Nonetheless, I have alot of personal experience- 8 children (currently nursing #8) including ftt; twins and premie. I am the only LC in my area where there is also alot of misinformation, and I work hard helping those who seek my assistance. *********************************************** The LACTNET mailing list is powered by L-Soft's renowned LISTSERV(R) list management software together with L-Soft's LSMTP(TM) mailer for lightning fast mail delivery.
