Shauna said "Asked innocently - not to be devil's advocate: Isn't it possible that this child recognizes that mom's milk should come from mom, and not a bottle, and therefore doesn't want it from the "wrong" container? " My second child would not take my milk from a bottle. My mother occassionaly gave him a bottle of water (even though I told her not to, she couldn't stand to not do anything when she thought he was hungry) and he took that, somewhat begrudgingly. But wouldn't take my milk from anything but me. So this does happen. -Lucy Towbin, MSW, IBCLC *********************************************** The LACTNET mailing list is powered by L-Soft's renowned LISTSERV(R) list management software together with L-Soft's LSMTP(TM) mailer for lightning fast mail delivery.
