I think that the plastic bags do get contaminated more becoz they are not
rigid and therefore it is hard to pour  the milk in there and fingers
inevitably touch the insides of the top of the bag; same when pouring out of
these bags or turning over, twisting, tying the bag. Also I agree that
tears, cracks etc can more easily occur and maybe even microscopic ones that
we cannot see with the naked eye.
