Jan says first time moms in 40's MAY have supply problems and says that it
may be related to other factors. True. Older moms are generally considered
higher risk becoz of other variables, not strictly their age, like higher
incidence of med. problems such as diabetes and hypertension. So i wonder if
these are really the reasons for supply issues or maybe if the moms are
"perimenopausal" at that age this would effect supply. Some women, like my
sister, have completely stopped having periods and are on HRT at age 45, so
could this be a factor?
