Just snuggled down an hour or so ago to begin reading the newest JHL.
I've just gotten a good start, but I had to take a LN break and alert you
all.

On opening it, what to my wondering eyes should appear . . . . but a
rousing guest editorial by Diane Wiessinger! Prepare to be inspired!

And right after that, a splendid article about the WIC program relative
to breastfeeding promotion, support and suggestions for the future.
Despite the fact I've been working alongside WIC people for 20+ years,
and volunteering for WIC for five, I learned so much about the inner
workings from this article.

It was written by none other than that veritable dynamo, Marsha Walker.
What a prolific writer she is! I marvel at her energy, her organization
and all her endeavors. How fortunate we are to have her on the side of
babies, mothers and LC's!
